>> Alberta's Regions

Alberta North
Find yourself in the rolling prairie land and pine forests of Northern Alberta. The northern region also contains some of Alberta’s most spectacular river valleys and provides the best view of Alberta’s northern lights.

Edmonton Area
Stay in Alberta's capital city. Also called the Festival City, Edmonton organizes over 40 events that span over 150 days to ensure that there is never a shortage of things to do in the city.

Alberta Central
Soak up Alberta's Central region. The central region contains an abundance of lakes surrounded by rolling prairie land or leafy trees. Red Deer, the largest city in Central Alberta, is one of the fastest growing cities in the province.

Alberta Rockies
Live amidst the Alberta Rocky Mountains. The Alberta Rockies region is home to one of the youngest and most rugged mountain regions in the world. Some of Canada’s most famous wildlife (i.e. caribou, moose and bears) also live here.

Calgary Area
Live it up in Alberta's largest city. Nestled between the prairies of the southern region and the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, Calgary provides visitors with easy access to Alberta’s diverse landscapes. It is also home to the internationally renowned Calgary Exhibition and Stampede.

Alberta South
Discover the wide open spaces of Alberta's South. The southern region is known for its big skies and expansive wheat and canola fields. You’ll also find unique landscapes called badlands and coulees in the southern region.
