CTS:  Forestry

The Forestry strand examines the dynamics of forest ecosystems, as well as the diverse and sometimes-competing needs associated with the use of forested lands. Students develop practical knowledge of forest industry practices and explore issues regarding the integrated and sustainable development of forest resources.

Forestry is just one of 22 strands* in Career and Technology Studies (CTS). For more information on the full group of CTS strands, visit the CTS Curriculum Structure.

*Each CTS "strand" is comprised of a group of 1-credit courses designed to support positive career opportunities for students.
