Alberta Education Celebrates the Province's Centennial

A is for Alberta Centennial Activity Book

A is for Alberta Centennial Activity Book A is for Alberta Centennial Activity Book for Grades K to 3 (3.0 MB)

This downloadable version contains the content that is in the activity book distributed to Alberta's Kindergarten to Grade 3 students in February.

Please note: If you have an earlier version of the A is for Alberta activity booklet you should note that on page 15 Hobbema has been included as a place that takes its name from native roots. However, the town of Hobbema, the name by which we have come to know the native groups in that area as well, is in fact named for a Dutch artist of the 17th century who was a favourite artist of William Van Horne, president of the Canadian Pacific Railway, who named the town in 1891.
