P3 New Schools Project


On June 14, the Minister of Education announced a new approach to build schools in Alberta. The Public-Private Partnership (P3) consolidation pilot project will result in the design-build of 18 new schools in Calgary and Edmonton using a made-in-Alberta P3 model. This new approach to school capital infrastructure aligns with Premier Ed Stelmach's government priorities and the Minister of Education's goals to build schools where students live and learn, and to be innovative and creative in an approach to new school construction. www.education.gov.ab.ca/news/2007/june/nr_newschools.asp
