The Alberta Education website includes information on education programs and services for people of all ages. The site includes links for students on homework help, online transcript applications, applying for student loans, and preparing for the work world. It provides information for parents on school choice, school councils, curriculum, and nominating a teacher for an excellence in teaching award.

Curriculum Handbooks for Parents
Find information on what students are expected to learn in kindergarten to Grade 12. The 2007-2008 publications are now available.

Kindergarten to Grade 12 multimedia learning resources for students, parents and teachers.

Telus Learning Connection
An educational alliance that provides inservice, opportunities for telecollaboration, online tools and resources, and mentorship for Alberta teachers through a provincial cascade model.

Computers for Schools
Computers for Schools provides used computers, computer equipment, and software to Canadian schools and libraries at no cost to recipients.

Trade Secrets

The Media Awareness Network offers practical support to students, teachers and parents on how to use the Web and other media in education.
